Bidding farewell to Bev, Greg and the mighty Fish River Canyon, we hit the road for Keetmanshoop. Not far out, the adventure found us—an entire zeal of zebra galloping alongside our vehicles before cutting right across our path! It was absolutely spectacular. Mike and I scrambled for GoPros and cameras, but honestly, no lens could do that moment justice.

Next stop—Canyon Farm Yard. It’s one of our favourite little gems: a quirky treasure trove of odd artifacts, run by the most delightful, bubbly owner. She’s full of stories, tips, and proudly insists her homemade apple pie is the best in Namibia. We can confirm—it’s dangerously good, especially paired with a strong cup of coffee.

Sugared-up and smiling, we pushed on for a few hundred more kilometres, bound for Keetmanshoop and the magical Quiver Tree Forest…
