We made a quick stop at Giant’s Playground to admire the massive dolerite boulders, stacked as if giants had been playing Lego. These unique formations were created around 170 million years ago by the erosion of underlying sedimentary rock.

From Keetmanshoop we had planned to head to Lüderitz, but our booking at NWR Shark Island campsite was cancelled. With no other camping options available, we switched to plan B and made our way to Aus instead.
