Our Epic Crew .....

Our upcoming adventure in Africa just got even more exciting because our family will be joining us on this epic journey. Samantha and Kathryn breathe a sigh of relief as we won't be venturing into the depths of Africa alone. 

For most of us born in Zambia, this trip presents a long-awaited opportunity to return to our roots. We hold countless cherished memories of our parents, aunts, and uncles captivating us with their tales from the days of Northern Rhodesia. Now, we're embarking on a journey that holds deep nostalgic significance, as we plan to revisit the places that shaped our childhoods. The magnificent Kafue National Park, with its vast plains teeming with animals, and the fond memories of laughter-filled days at Lusaka's Central Sports Club still resonate with us. 

Allow us to introduce our incredible crew: my sister, Louianne, and brother-in-law, Shane. They have gone all out in preparation, equipping themselves with a trusty Toyota Fortuner and the versatile Afrispoor Wildcat. But that's not all! We're also joined by our cousin Karen, her husband Rob, and their adventurousi son Cambel, all the way from the USA. They will be adding their own touch of excitement by hiring a rugged 4x4 and a trailer to accompany us on this remarkable journey. 

Sadly, due to unforeseen circumstances, some family members won't be able to join us. Nevertheless, they will be in our thoughts every step of the way, and we'll make sure to raise a heartfelt toast or two in their honour!

We can hardly contain our anticipation for the adventures that lie ahead. Join us as we reconnect with our roots, create new memories, and experience the awe-inspiring beauty of Zambia and Zimbabwe together.
